About Us

Hi there! Welcome to my world!

My name is Jessica Jo and I'm the creator here at Jessica Jo Designs. I'm a 24-year-old Sonoma native and some of my favorite hobbies include spending time with my family, enjoying the valley with my friends, creating jewelry in my home studio, and traveling when I get the chance!

I have been silversmithing since May of 2015 and had been creating other forms of jewelry for a few years before that! I took a few weekend courses at Silvera Jewelry School in Berkeley, CA and I've also taken a couple 8-session classes taught by a local jeweler! Besides taking those classes, a lot of my experience has been through trial and error in the studio I've built for myself over the years!

I began making jewelry in high school because I was so shy that I often avoided social events like sports games and parties and opted to stay home! Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I picked up some craft supplies from Michael's and claimed the kitchen counter as my workplace! 

I participated in my first craft fair in November of 2014 and was absolutely hooked! I have since participated in multiple events including craft fairs, holiday home parties, G3 Women's events, Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival, Petaluma Art and Garden, and I was a vendor at the Valley Of The Moon Certified Farmers' Market every Tuesday during the summer of 2017 and 2018 (along with Petaluma’s Wednesday night farmers market and the Springs farmers market in 2018!)

Both of my parents are entrepreneurs so I guess you could say it runs in the blood!
